SUPPORT MODES
For our customer’s convenience, we offer four service delivery modes; Onsite, Remote, Drop-off and Depot service.
Onsite Service
Intellinet’s Onsite Service provides one of our qualified service technicians to come to customer place of business, on a day and at a time that is most convenient for the customer. This service is often requested simply because it is the most convenient for the customer, other times it is just not possible by any other service mode, for example a down Internet connection, or an ihouse networking problem or a piece of equipment that is physically too large to transport for a Drop-off or Depot service. Onsite service charges an initial one-hour minimum.
Remote Service
Intellinet’s RescueMe Remote Support service is by far the quickest and most convenient service mode. Using the Internet, Intellinet technicians, once authorized by the customer, can connect to the customer’s system and perform a wide range of support services. Intellinet is able to offer this service regardless of the customer’s device, but does require that the customer has a functioning Internet connection.
Drop-off Service
When Intellinet Services must physically work on a system, the Drop-off Service is the least expensive of service modes. Drop-off service involves the customer transporting the system to Intellinet’s offices and dropping it off there. After being received, Intellinet will perform the requested service and call the customer when the system is ready for pickup.
Depot Service
Intellinet’s Depot Service consists of an Intellinet technician coming to the customer’s site and picking up then transporting the system back to Intellinet’s office. Once the requested service to the system is complete, the system is returned and installed back at the customer’s location. There is a one time $35 pickup/delivery fee for Depot Service.
Onsite vs. Drop-off/Depot Service
Customer often ask if we can complete a given repair in their home or business location which we most definitely can! However, depending on the type of repair it is often less expensive if the requested services are performed at Intellinet’s offices.
When Intellinet performs such services as system backup or virus scanning, which can take hours depending on the size of the customer’s hard drives, Intellinet will only charge for the time that they are working directly with the system when it is performed at Intellinet’s offices.
In this case, Intellinet technicians are able simultaneously work on other matters as they wait for the customer’s system to complete its task. If an Intellinet technician is performing the same sort of task at the customer’s location, then they must bill for the time it takes to complete the task.
